Sustainable Design, Circular Economics, and Better life

In these modern times of gradual resource depletion and escalating consumerism, numerous environmental issues arise daily. In 2022, "the SPIRAL" was the third biannual Taiwan Circular Design Exhibition, drawing and consolidating the power of circular design from past efforts and progressive actions of manufacturers, designers, and consumers to initiate endless commercial opportunities.

SPIRAL means continuous rotation on a unified axis, with its form ranging from flat to three-dimensional, progressively expanding and advancing, forming a circular and rotational evolution of energy, matter, and consciousness along a chronological axis.

The exhibit utilizes three main viewpoints guiding viewers through SPOT, ECHO, and 360°. Using various industry systems as a medium to achieve a shared experience of what circular design can accomplish will inspire the public to transform their lives and keep the wheels of the circular economy turning.

在資源日逐漸匱乏的時代，持續加劇的消費主義導致更多的環境議題。2022 年，團隊以《 the SPIRAL 》為軸心策展，持續行動、深度落實昔日鎖定的循環目標，並透過循環設計力整合製造、設計、消費端，開創出商業價值無限的可能。

SPIRAL（螺旋）意指以軸心持續旋轉的狀態，形體可從扁平到立體的彈性延展、升維，亦可視為一種迭代循環與轉動量能，將物質、能量、意識等在時間軸上不斷地轉動、前進並延伸。以此借喻，展場由三大視角（結構）帶領觀者從「SPOT 看見現況」、「ECHO 提出作為並開拓可能」，到最後的「360°鏈結國際」，以產業系統為媒介，共同體驗循環設計力、啟發大眾一同轉變生活、維持循環經濟的轉動。
